Join us as we celebrate the landing of Apollo 11 and commemorate the first human steps on the Moon! This full-day event will feature a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages to enjoy.


Free admission for the first 25 military families in line when doors open at 10:00 a.m. on July 20! (Up to 4 family members, with I.D.)

  • The United States Postal Service will be here for a special one-of-a-kind Apollo 11 postmark celebration and unveiling of the new First Moon Landing stamp! Presentation: 10:45 a.m.
  • Audience with an Astronaut, Duane "Digger" Carey Presentations: 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
  • United States Air Force Academy presents Engineering the Chemistry of RocketsShow times: 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • Building rockets
  • Play along with our Apollo virtual reality
  • Science On a Sphere® presentations
  • Drive a Rover in our Lockheed Martin Mars Robotics Laboratory
  • Space face painting presented by Magic by Larry Scott
