Ever since we all first watched Mark Watney grow potatoes on Mars in “The Martian,” we’ve wondered what it would take to grow food in space and on another planet. Join us as we discuss agriculture in space and how we’ll eat on Mars!

Featured Guests: Galactic Farms’ creators Jeff and Melissa Pernell will be visiting us from Missoula, Montana to discuss their work in vertical and urban farming. They will also introduce us to their newest prototype device!

Veggies in Space: A discussion with former NASA astronaut Jack D. Fischer on how vegetables were grown on the International Space Station!
